Redmi Note 4G Sold Out in 6 Seconds, Read Full Specifications

Xiaomi has once again tasted success in India with its first flash sale for the Redmi Note 4G, seeing 40,000 units of the smartphone go out of stock on Flipkart within six seconds of becoming available.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G went on its first flash sale at 2pm IST on Tuesday via Flipkart. Shortly after the sale ended, Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain announced on Twitter how quickly the smartphones went out of stock.

Redmi Note 4G is a dual band LTE phone which will work on both TDD-2300 MHz and FDD-1800 Mhz 4G frequency bands. Note that the device will work without 4G connectivity and supports other 4G service providers (when launched) apart from Airtel too.

The Redmi Note 4G features the same 13MP rear camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture that supports 1080p video recording, and a 5MP front camera.

The 4G version runs on a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor with 2GB RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is a single SIM phone unlike the dual SIM 3G version.

The smartphone is powered by a 3100 mAh lithium-polymer battery which is removable. It is priced at Rs 9,999. The 4G version runs on Android 4.4.2 OS sugarcoated with MIUI v5.

During the launch in India, Xiaomi had indicated that updates to Android 5 Lollipop will be available in the future, but provided no time frame.
